Behind the name & the importance of art

It took two art high school students who shared their passion for the arts as well as their wanting to give back to others for “Their Turn” to be born. When realizing the privilege they and their colleagues had to receive such a prestigious art education, they started summarizing ideas of how they can share this opportunity to those who aren’t. It was apparent that many kids aren’t exposed to a quality arts education that can spark positive new interests due to various reasons including lack of financial support.

Since we had our turn to receive the privilege of a supportive arts education, we believe it is now “their turn” (current youth) to have access to at least a moderation of this education.
